The 11th Annual Lucent festival is being hosted at star 6 ranch!

The Star 6 Ranch is a place that welcomes youth, families, individuals and communities, to reconnect with the rhythms of our natural world. Through our land-based programs, equine connections and community partnerships, we hold space for individuals to embark on journeys of self-discovery, healing, resiliency-building and growth.

Reconnecting in meaningful ways with land, community and self, guides people of all ages to hone their inner compasses, unearth their authentic selves, and discover that everything we need to thrive lies within.

We are thrilled to be hosting here again and cannot wait to welcome you to the land.


The Star 6 Ranch acknowledges that we live, work and recreate on sacred lands and traditional territories within the Ozade Îmne (Kananaskis) region. Alongside Mînî Thnî (Morley), on the banks of the Ozade Imne Wapta (Kananaskis River), in the presence of Îyâ Mnathka (Yamnuska), we take responsibility for understanding our role in reconciliation and honour the past, present and future.

Frquenly Asked Questions

  • The 2025 Lucent Festival is located at Start 6 Ranch, in Exshaw, Alberta. Located in the beautiful Kananaskis region and only 50 minutes from Calgary city centre.

  • Everyone! We will be your family for the weekend. Enjoy some solo time to meet new people to add to your favourites list, or bring the family.

    All children are welcome regardless of age and think it is super important for them to be immersed in Nature, surrounded by great people and lots of love.

  • There will be designated spaces for both tenting and small camper/car options. We do not have the space, capacity or plug-ins to accommodate large RVs. If you have a large camper there are neighbouring parks for additional campsites.

  • You can expect a jam-packed weekend! See our schedule on social media or on the website!

  • YES! We know, you rrreeeaaaallllyyyy want to join us for LUCENT but are unable to stay the night. We have created a special SATURDAY ONLY ticket that does NOT include camping or Sunday morning festivities. Hopefully, you can at least stay for 1 cheeky S'more. If you would like to stay and enjoy the music and the market, you can also purchase a Day Pass NO CLASS option. This gives you free roam of the festival but NO access to any workshops.

  • Tickets are non refundable BUT if you cannot make it, then you can absolutely transfer your ticket to someone else. Be in touch and inform us of the change in details ASAP - connect@embodiedliving.ca
